The Aqsaray Palace called “White Palace”, shahrisabz
Heading north to the cityscape where you feel the flow of the quiet time, there is the Aqsaray Palace marker on the northern tip. The palace was destroyed by the king of Bukhara in the late 16th century, and only the ends of the entrance arches of the palace remained in a miserable form. In case the Aqsaray Palace was constructed in 1380 and completed in 1405, but Timur could not see the palace. “Aqsaray” was called “White Palace”, a noble palace. Once used to be colored with blue and gold tiles. On the cylinder of the entrance arch is written that “King Sultan is Shadow of Allah”.
